Fringe To Get Fifth And Final Season Of Thirteen Episodes

A deal has been closed for Fringe to get thirteen final episodes to round out its story and wrap up nicely. Well, in theory at least. Bad Robot television had a much longer to prepare for the ending of Lost and that still left most viewers at least a little niggled.

While we wait with bated breath to learn whether Fox will bring the beloved sci-fi drama Fringe back for a fifth season, there’s a new rumor that the show could potentially find second life in an admittedly unlikely place.

We already know the producers have a comic book contingency plan if Fox pulls the plug, TV Guide’s guru Matt Roush has now raised the question of how likely it could be for the show to move to another network. Fringe producers shot TWO season finales. Which will we see?

With the fate of Fox’s Fringe still up in the air, the cast recently opened up about just how prepared they are if the current fourth season turns out to be the last. The most interesting tidbit? They’ve apparently shot two potential endings, depending on if the series gets a last minute pickup.

Coen brothers’ ‘Fargo’ to be adapted for television by FX?

FX is said to be currently in talks to adapt the Coen brothers’ black comedy Fargo into a television show.
