This Must Be Pop

The Pop Culture impact of professional wrestling varies from decade to decade. Hulkamania exploded on the scene in 1984, but by 1991 only hardcore fans were still sporting the yellow and red. Then, Austin 3:16 took the nation by storm in the mid 90’s. One constant that has rode the waves of pro-wrestling popularity sense the 80’s has been Wrestlemania. “The Grand Daddy of Them All” or “The Showcase of the Immortals” has become the WWE version of the Super Bowl and this year the 31st Wrestlemania lands at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.

On this week’s TMBP, Jp begins a two part Road to Wrestlemania Special. Josh (Collection Connection) stops by to share some favorite and not so favorite moments of past Wrestlemania’s. Also, a look at this year’s card and the different phases of the WWE.
