The late 1970’s and early 1980’s marked the birth and first boom of home video gaming. From pong to the Atari 2600, video games were all the rage. But, an over-saturation of gaming consoles and the drive to get games to market, regardless of quality, almost killed the new tech industry. All that started to change in 1985, most notably with the arrival of the NES.
