The book is as historically accurate as is possible for a book that imagines President Lincoln as an axe-wielding kick-ass slayer of the undead can be, and it’s a lot of fun to boot. Timur Bekmambetov (WANTED) is filming it now, to be released next summer, but the New York Times has a look at what we may expect in this adaptation.

Mary Elizabeth Winstead plays his wife, Mary Todd Lincoln, and the film is being produced by Bakmambetov, Tim Burton, and Jim Lemley.
